The Namespace Company Goes Live

The Namespace Company is now publicly deployed. It defines the namespace architecture layer of the Local Internet: the naming, addressing and relationship model that lets strategic domains, business records, geographic tiers, information sources and marketplaces reference one another consistently.

Rather than a collection of unrelated websites, the namespace layer treats each property as an addressable part of one architecture. A business record, a city page and a marketplace node can all point at the same underlying entity.

Work continues on the surrounding layers — the grid, the records stack, search and the API — with updates published here as they are deployed.
